HOME DESIGN

Today the TR Design crew started off the day by visiting a spacious house in New Cannan. We were welcomed by numerous businesses as we walked throughout each room. We discussed every housing detail imaginable! Pertaining from remote controlled customizable LED lighting (with Crestron and Lutron), to making your home green from top to bottom (with Green Home Cunsulting, and Climatemaster)! As we made our way out to the back yard we were immediately enticed by the breathtaking landscape that included a fire pit, hot tub and pool. There was even a living wall being desplayed on the deck as well. For those who don't know, a living wall is a verticle garden for the interior of your home that functions as a natural air purifyer as well as a beautiful focal point for any room. There was no doubt the outside of the house beautifully reflected the attention to detail that was displayed on the inside as well.

Kitchen Re-Facade

TR Design is in the beginning stages of redoing a kitchen in Wilton. It is a builder's kitchen approximately 15 years old. The "bones" of the kitchen cabinets are great, the layout is spacious enough to entertain many guests however, we need to update the color, counter tops, back splash, sink  and, appliances to bring it into the 21st century and satisfy the gourmet chef of the household. With the help of Farrow and Ball paint on the cabinets the transformation is going to be incredible. We'll "hunt" for the perfect slab to be used as the counter top, something creamy such as Kashmir Gold along with a complimentary back splash.  The soffitt area will be addressed with lots of gorgeous molding. Other details to complete the transformation are new knobs, old world style fan hood and lastly a simple window treatment over the sink area. Keep in touch for the progress.
