Good quality Ottomans, Stools and, Side Tables.
Ottomans, stools and, side tables are the perfect little furniture accessory for porches, walk in closets, reading areas or, in that small spot that needs an extra surface. One of my favorite companies is +Made Goods. I met the founder +Oscar Yague and he gave a wonderful presentation about his company. What impressed me about him was how down to earth, sincere and, very authentic in his way of thinking and bringing these wonderful products to the interior design world. To me the story behind a piece of furniture where, how and, by whom it is made is important because it affects us in our homes and, at the end of it's "life", our environment.
This bow tie shaped stool comes in crackled gold, glossy white and jade. The perfect spot to place the afternoon cup of tea.
The alternating stripes in blue, black or yellow makes this stool a great add on in a bathroom where the towel awaits or, in an entry to add some pop of color.
This reverse-fluted stool or table in yellow, white or, tangerine
makes this a fun pop of color any where.... teen's bedroom, patio, powder room or, front door with plants placed on top
Low woven ottoman or accent table in sea grass would add wonderful texture in many rooms. Add a glass top and viola, easy maintenance.
I LOVE the world of Interior Design and the good quality products that are available to us professionals to pass on to our clients.
Be careful what you purchase for your home, we are all responsible for the environment and how we affect it. Research the product and find out where, when and, by whom it was made.
+Made Good products are handmade and use natural materials.
May your home "rise to meet you" Terri

Birds cheapin' and Plants are poppin"....let's decorate
As I sit here on my back patio(advantages of being an entrepreneur) the birds are "cheeping" away and my rather large perennial garden is starting to pop. The daisy buds are the most prominent in my garden as I write, I love their "fresh whiteness" when they bloom.....they don't last long but it is wonderful to look at. After hearing what the weather was going to be like today in Connecticut I hunted down my summer clothes and was so relieved that they still fit!!....I'm so ready for warm weather as I am sure all of you are. Along with the warm weather clothes so you look good, let's look around your home and see what can be better. Open a couple of windows and let the spring air in.....and take a good look at one or two rooms around the house .... could they use some sprucing up.
Walls
Maybe new paint??...easiest and least expensive transformation. +Farrow & Ball www.Farrow-Ball.com Stone Blue would be fabulous in a dining or living room. India Yellow with a pinch of brown in it would be stunning in a kitchen with off white cabinets. Skylight is a peaceful blue/green for that perfect serene master bedroom color.

I just received some yummy "soft sisal" rug samples from a company down south, +Blackstone Carpets & Rugs www.blackstonecarpets.com The various styles are unique, soft (hence the name) and, can be
easily finished off with +Fiber Sealing www.Fiberseal.com against stains.
These soft sisals can be bound as shown and they come rubber backed so need for extra padding although it is available. This company also makes an outdoor soft sisal. The colors and weaving are some of the best I have ever seen.
Enjoy looking at these high quality products and contact Terri Reilly Design to see samples and receive professional guidance for your next project in your home or office.

Quality Products and Professional Service
I have been to many fabric and furniture shows in the past two weeks and have seen incredible well made quality products. You end up spending less money if you buy quality in the beginning.....A well made product researched by a professional interior designer just for you will stand the test of time.
The Architectural Digest Show in NYC, Designer Fabric and Furniture Road Show in Norwalk and, the Designer showcase in Greenwich, CT was more than this interior designer could take. I was on over load but so excited to bring various products to my clients and expose them to the public.
+Farrow & Ball( as you all know it's my favorite paint and wall paper) just launched 4 new wall paper designs at the beginning of March. The fabulous design element of +F &B papers are, they are produced from their paint in either a roller or block method (as opposed to most companies their papers are printed)and the papers are washable and stain resistant. At 11 yards in length per each roll you receive an incredible look for the price point.
+Designer Guild is another one of my favorite English base companies. The UK can do no wrong when it comes to the world of interior design. These two newest fabrics Astasia and Khalana are my favorites this season. I have them pinned up on my design boards along with a kitchen inspiration photo......Im creating my next client's project. Manifesting is another word...(my daughter can't stand that word) back to the fabric , the design and combination of simple black, off white and, charcoal give these designs a graphic feel but they would look great in a traditional setting.
More tomorrow after I attend the Greenwich Fabric and Furniture Designer Showcase. I' m back from the Designer show....... Ikat Fabric is in or back, depending on how you look at it.+ Beacon Hill/Robert Allen is showing alot of purples, pinks and various blues. +Clarence House and +Canovas had some beautiful fabrics in delft blue, very rich and commanding to be noticed.
Its almost easy to guess this designer....he is every where. From his own store, designing accessories, lamps and now beautiful rugs. +Jonathan Adler designs for +The Rug company. Cut Pile Wool.

Flat weave Dhurries (that s a name from 20 years ago)also from +The Rug Co.in many brilliant colors. Bring summer on with this red and blue one. For the more subdued and elegant is the Bamboo Ikat silk featured here in black and for a more faded look the charcoal is stunning.
