Art is Icing on the Cake for Interior Design-Part 2

On to my next Art adventure.........Art to the Avenue in Greenwich, CT. This gala is hosted by the +Greenwich Arts Council. The night was beeeautiful(as my Aunt Lee always says), warm, the sky was glowing as the sun went down,  people walking the Avenue in all their fine regalia with children scampering for ice cream, stilt walkers trying to keep it steady and, lots of musicians singing their hearts out.

My friend Giovanna and strolled from store to store seeking out the art and of course looking for hor deuvres and wine.

The blue swirls of oil are finished with wax making a fluid encaustic painting. Where in your house or office would you place this wonderful peice?

Then from happy blue waters of some deserted island to the stormy scene of an oil encaustic by the charming artist +Andrea Bonfils.

+Rachel Volpone the Artist
The one and only +Rachel Volpone. She  displayed her art in the Kate Spade store and, of course matching perfectly with all the "spade" paraphenalia. Cool glassesRachel!

Two Great artists from the +Ridgefield Guild of Artists ventured on to Greenwich Avenue.
+Pamela Stoddard
This "cool" peice was hiding in the back courtyard of one of the shops leaning against a simple cement wall but, so fabulous!

As the night came to an end Giovanna and I headed back up the Avenue dreaming of all the incredible art.
